Ultimate BMW Show at The Heritage Motor Museum

On the 27th of May, we proudly returned to the Ultimate BMW Show at The Heritage Motor Museum in Gaydon - our fourth consecutive year exhibiting at what’s become a highlight of the BMW enthusiast calendar. Since the show's inception, BM Autosport has been a committed trade exhibitor, and it’s been a real pleasure watching the event grow year after year.

This year, we were lucky to be blessed with perfect weather with clear skies and sunshine that brought the best out of every car on display. Our day started early with a 5am departure to make sure we arrived in good time to set up our stand. The early start was well worth it.

We brought along some real head turners this year: our striking Santorini Blue E92 M3 and bold Phoenix Yellow E46 M3, which both attracted plenty of attention throughout the day. We also had the privilege of showcasing a valued customer’s beautifully maintained F02 LWB 7 Series, adding a touch of understated class to the mix.

In total, we had around 50 wheels on display, along with a wide range of spacer kits - all available for purchase on the day. As always, the real joy came from the conversations. I’ve been fitting wheels for over 25 years now, and there’s nothing more rewarding than sharing that knowledge with fellow enthusiasts. Whether it’s helping someone find the right setup for their car or discussing the finer points of stance and fitment, it’s these one on one chats that really make the day special.

What stood out this year was the sheer number of visitors and not just passers by, but people genuinely interested in our products, advice, and stories. We made a few sales, yes, but more importantly, we made a lot of connections. Events like this remind me exactly why I started BM Autosport all those years ago.

Gaydon holds a particular sentimental value for me. In the early 2000s, when we were just getting BM Autosport off the ground, I used to come to the BMW show here to buy stock. I’d pack it all into my old E39 5 Series Touring, brimming with wheels and excitement for the road ahead. Coming back to the same location years later as a trade exhibitor and seeing familiar faces, sharing stories, it’s a full circle moment for me and one I cherish.

The day flew by so quickly that I didn’t even get a chance to walk around and admire all the other incredible cars on display! That’s always the sign of a good show - nonstop energy, great conversations, and a real buzz from start to finish.
